Mary Schneider

Mary Schneider has taught flute in the Waterloo-Cedar Falls area for many years. Mary began her teaching career as an elementary general music teacher, as well as teaching 5th and 6th grade band. As a private instructor, Mary taught for the UNI Suzuki School for 15 years. She currently maintains a private flute studio.

 

Mary Schneider earned a Bachelor of Music in Education from the University of Iowa, and a Master of Music in Flute Performance from the University of Northern Iowa.

 

Mary emphasizes tone production and finger techniques in lessons through scales, etudes, solos, and ensemble participation. Mary teaches beginner, intermediate and advanced flute.
