Lora Heit

I have enjoyed how music has enriched my life, ever since 4th grade when I started taking piano lessons.  I continued lessons all through High School and College,  where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Teaching from UNI.  Since then, I have taught in various private and public schools in the Cedar Valley area; as well as private piano lessons.  After teaching chorus for 16 years at Central Middle School in Waterloo, I taught piano lessons at West Music. Now I am excited about joining the Music Hill Studios team as a piano teacher. I enjoy teaching all the ages, from six years old to adults.  It is such a joy to see and hear the accomplishments and growth in my students as we make music together.  I also enjoy gardening, reading, and caring for my grand children.  I am looking forward to making new relationships through music at Music Hill Studios.
