Kip Roelfsema

Kip Roelfsema has been a percussion and drum set instructor for 22 years in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. He stresses both technique and musicality, believing that true musicians possess both qualities in equal measure. 

In addition to teaching, Kip has been a drummer in several area bands, and is currently the drummer in Deja Blue. He encourages all of his students to play with other musicians in a band setting, and enjoys watching them play with his band at weekly open jam performances.
