Hanna Stolper

Hanna Stolper is an active piano teacher and collaborative artist pursuing a Masters Degree in Piano Pedagogy and Performance at the University of Northern Iowa, where she studies under Dr. Vakhtang Kodanashvili. Here she studies Pedagogy under Dr. Andrea Johnson and accompanying under Dr. Robin Guy. She attended Silver Lake College in Wisconsin receiving a Bachelors of Music in Piano Pedagogy and Performance where she studied under Dr. Stanislava Varshavski.

 

As a graduate assistant, Hanna teaches a Group Piano Course as well as collaborates with various ensembles and singers. She has collaborated with both UNI Singers and the UNI Opera. She currently is a member of the Music Teachers’ National Association, Iowa Music Teachers’ Association and Northeast Area Music Teachers’ Association. Hanna has accompanied for various churches in the area including Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Central Christian Church.

 

Hanna deeply enjoys teaching students of all ages, not only standard repertoire, but also music appreciation, theory, sight-reading, chord charts and music by a diverse range of composers.
